Welcome Holy Spirit - Part 2: The Days of The Holy Spirit

In preparing His disciples for His soon departure in John chapter 16, Jesus essentially said, "I am going, but there is a new day coming!" As we discussed last week, the Old Testament is primarily seen as the work of God the Father. The New Testament is seen mainly as the work of God the Son. However, today, we see the working of the Holy Spirit. This fulfills the promise the Father gave through the Prophet Joel and its fulfillment on the Day of Pentecost in Acts chapter 2 when the Promise of the Father came that Jesus told us would. Unless we fully embrace and yield to the work of the Holy Spirit, which is one of activation and manifestation, we will not fulfill the Father's will and heart for us, thus forfeit the blessings found in this New and Better Covenant. These truly are the Days of the Holy Spirit!
